It has been said by Picasso, Klimt and Loos in relation to the creation of Modernism, that all art is erotic. Regardless of such dramatic statements, it is clear that art is physical, it is a non verbal language. We create and visualize, then we return with language trying to describe and understand what we have done. The working process in this project consists of simultaneously produced pairs or groups of sculptures where parts are balancing and complementing each other. It is not the sculpture in itself, the nude motif or aspects of sensualism or eroticism that this work is about. It is the relation between the pieces and the situation in space created by the group, that is interesting to me.
